There are many ways to get perky breasts without surgery. Surgery is not always needed to improve the appearance of your breasts, nor is it the best or only option for having perky breasts.
I have 7 tips that I use to improve the appearance of my own breasts without surgery or using other medical treatments.
How to Get Perky Breasts Without Surgery?
Here Are 7 Tips to Get Perky Breasts Without Surgery
1. Wear the right bra size.
The biggest perk you can easily achieve is wearing a bra that fits properly. While it may be tempting to just start buying new bras in larger cup sizes, this really does not help much at all.
Breasts actually need support to keep them perky, so they sag when unsupported by a bra. If you simply go up in cup sizes without getting a bra with the proper support, the extra material of the larger cup size will stretch out your breasts over time and damage their shape.
Instead, get fitted every 6 months or so for both your everyday bras and your underwear. Make sure there is an actual person measuring you ahead of time who knows what they are doing. Do not try to guess your own or assume you can measure yourself with a measuring tape (you cannot).
Get fitted even if you think you know your size because sizes change over time and get bigger when weight fluctuates. Also get fitted after weight loss surgery, because the size of your stomach changes after surgery, which also affects your bra size.
2. Exercise regularly, but do not overdo it.
Breasts are supported by ligaments as well as fatty tissue. When they are not properly supported, gravity causes them to sag and lose their perkiness. This is why regular exercise, especially with resistance training components, is a great way to improve the appearance of your breasts.
However, you want to make sure that you exercise with proper form and build up resistance slowly over time, or you can damage your breasts.
For example, if you do not use weights during arm exercises, the ligaments in your arms will gradually stretch out (thus damaging their shape) because they are not properly supported by the rest of your body.
If you are just starting out with exercise or using weights, do not expect to see perkiness results immediately. It may take several weeks before you start seeing improvement in the appearance of your breasts because moderate resistance training takes time to build up strength. However, if you already have strong muscles and just want bigger breasts, you may be able to achieve your goal in just a few weeks.
3. Eat the right foods for breast health.
Foods do not directly affect the appearance of your breasts like exercise does, but there are many nutrients (such as folic acid and Vitamin C which are important for breast health that you can only get from your diet.
If your breasts are not healthy, they will lose their perkiness as you age and other factors influence them negatively. This is why it makes sense to supplement with the right nutrients as well as eat a diet that contains those nutrients naturally.
4. Lose or maintain weight at a healthy level.
In order for your breasts to perk up, their natural shape needs to be able to show through. If you are overweight or obese, your breasts will sag due to excess tissue that cannot fit into your cup size (for example, if you are large chested with a lot of belly fat).
Instead of constantly wearing shapewear and binding garments underclothes, consider losing weight to free up your natural shape and keep your breasts perky.
If you are already at a healthy weight, make sure to maintain it in order to sustain the appearance of perkiness.
5. Reduce stress.
Stress can cause excess cortisol release, which affects all parts of your body negatively, especially when paired with a poor diet and lack of exercise.
Cortisol is a hormone that triggers the "fight or flight" reaction in your body when you are under stress, and it can cause all sorts of problems when released too often or in excess amounts.
As cortisol ages the skin and its functions and structures (like collagen and elastin), it can contribute to sagging skin. This is why it makes sense to take steps to reduce stress in your life, including meditation, exercise, avoiding toxic people, and more.
6. Use the right bra for support.
You need to wear a properly fitting bra while exercising in order to keep everything supported while you are lifting weights or performing resistance exercises.
There are many different types of bras, including sports bras, strapless bras, push-up bras, etc. You should choose a bra that fits your body type well.
For example, if you have smaller breasts and want them to look bigger naturally, wearing an underwire push-up bra can help because it lifts up your breasts without the use of padding (which can be very bulky and uncomfortable).
However, you do not want to wear a bra that is too tight or does not fit properly because it will reduce blood flow and restrict your range of motion. Plus, wearing an improperly fitted bra can lead to permanent damage in the form of stretch marks or indentations on the shoulders.
7. Take the right supplements.
Most women do not realize that their diet and lifestyle can influence the appearance of their breasts as they age, so many rely on expensive cosmetic procedures and/or surgery to fix problems.
Instead, consider taking natural supplements which support breast health and development, such as:
• Vitamins A, C, and E (since they are antioxidants, these nutrients work to prevent age spots).
• Vitamin B1: Protects DNA in breast cells from becoming damaged.
• Vitamin B6: This vitamin stimulates collagen production, which is important for maintaining the fullness and perkiness of your breasts.
• Folic Acid: Promotes healthy mammary tissue and can help prevent breast cancer.
• Vitamin B12: Prevents cellular damage and deficiency, which can lead to sagging and wrinkling.
• Evening Primrose Oil: This oil is rich in fatty acids that can increase breast size, protect from sagging and stretch marks, and maintain moisture in the skin.
• Amino Acids: This nutrient can help your body to produce more elastin and collagen, which makes for firmer breast tissue that is less likely to sag.
• Iodine: This nutrient is important for breast health because it helps to regulate hormonal balance.
Sufficient amounts of iodine are also needed for the healthy growth of breast tissue while you are still developing. Along with daily supplements, make sure to incorporate a healthy diet that includes natural sources of these nutrients as well as foods that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon, trout, and mackerel.
The Bottom Line
If you have small or sagging breasts, there are many things that can be done at home to both fix the appearance of the problem and prevent it from getting worse.
You can also avoid expensive cosmetic surgery or procedures by using natural methods which will make an impact on the way your breasts look and feel.
